As you may already know, Thau23 is my account. It's my baby, and i've worked hard for it. Well today, I almost had it hacked.

I get a text from my little brother while at work, which never happens, asking me "Is this you lmfao?" I respond with a general what the hell are you talking about, to which he responds "Check Facebook right now"..

Well, someone hacked my social accounts, and was messaging my little brother regarding password information. He was so close to giving it away, but he's a drunk frat star so he got it all wrong (Thank GOD). So I proceed to message my little brother on Facebook saying "Get the fuck off my Facebook faggot", to which the guy that was trying to hack my account responded, as me. He said "Worth a shot lol", to which we then conversed for a bit, because I wanted to see just how much information he had of mine. It was rather casual as I think he now knew he lost hope in gaining access to Thau23. He stated that "Dont wanna get into specifics but i have logs of many many sites" and proceeded to copy paste a list of my information he had accumulated in a brief period of time. Old passworlds, old email addresses, my phone number, Facebook details. He had traced my account to old websites Andrew and I had registered to for botting purposes (Literally half the log of accounts and emails he listed of mine we're mule accounts that I ran as bots back in early OSRS and Pre-EOC)

Now I only took the time to write this because, he, an avid hacker so to speak, gave me a bit of advice, which I want everyone to take to heart. I asked him towards the end if I had done anything wrong, clicked on any incorrect links, or if it was a clan related hacking attempt, his response: "nah you did nothing wrong, only mistake was using the same passes everywhere, good job on having an isolated rs email
2 step that bitch"


TL:DR - Don't have similar passwords. Invest in a notebook, write down your passwords, and 2-step verify EVERYTHING.
